Overview
The brief was simple and ambitious at once: transform a dated personal-cooling cooler into a premium, brand-right object for Solo. The result is a clean, confident form that anchors gatherings, accepts modular accessories, and delivers a refined mist that actually cools people down.

The Challenge
Overhaul the legacy IcyBreeze product, which struggled with functional issues and did not align with Solo’s visual brand language. Understand what loyal users wanted from a new version without carrying forward the clutter. Conduct qualitative interviews and quantitative checks to separate truly valued features from the noise/
The Solution
Establish a disciplined Solo silhouette with clear planes, tight radii, and hardware that feels considered rather than add-on. Build the architecture as a platform that accepts modular accessories, so the cooler adapts to camping, tailgates, or backyard use without visual chaos. Rework the internal airflow and misting path to produce a finer, more even spray with intuitive controls that stay easy to clean.
The Result
A premium, brand-coherent cooler that feels part of the Solo family the moment it rolls into the scene. The modular approach keeps setups tidy and purposeful, and the improved misting system delivers perceptible relief instead of a gimmick. What began as a rescue mission for an aging product now reads as a confident statement piece for hot days outside.
