The Challenge

Introduce quarterly expressions that feel special yet unmistakably quip, using existing tooling and production lines. Create real novelty through materials and finishes that survive steamy bathrooms, daily abrasion, and retailer handling. Translate collaborations and causes into a disciplined visual system instead of one-off experiments.

The Solution

Build a CMF platform that scales: PVD coatings for bright and colorful metallics, laser engraving for crisp graphic patterning, selective translucency and glow pigments for playful pieces, and tightly controlled inks and textures for high-touch areas. Define cross-sku “recipes” that map finishes to handles, closures, and accessories, so Pride, Glow Kids, and artist capsules like Shantell Martin read cohesive in hand and on shelf. Lock quality gates for color, finish, and wear, and pair each drop with packaging and merchandising cues that present the edition as a complete story.
