Overview
Atmos is a circadian-smart sleep lamp that winds you down with warm, low-blue light and wakes you with bright, energizing light. A single, stereo-style dial handles the essentials; it learns your habits, arrives pre-synced to your time zone, and even runs smoothly without the app.
The Challenge
Most “smart” bedside products try to be alarm clocks, light therapy panels, and mini tablets all at once. The result? Cluttered UX and harsh light right when you don’t want it. We aimed for the opposite: health-forward, flicker-reduced light with intuitive, eyes-closed-at-2-a.m. control, zero-fuss setup, and no dependency on screens.
The Solution
We built around one beautiful control: press to wake, turn to dim/brighten, and let on-device learning quietly adapt over time. Out of the box, it’s pre-synced to your time zone, with an optional app and an airplane mode for the purists. Optics and electronics deliver warm, blue-depleted evenings and blue-enriched mornings while minimizing flicker. The hardware pairs precision-blown glass with anodized aluminum, a weighted stance, and a modular, repairable architecture.
The Result
An effortlessly human lamp: the right light, at the right moment, with a tactile interface that disappears into muscle memory. App control expands the experience (smart-home support slated), but the core ritual works brilliantly screen-free. Designed in partnership with Restful, Atmos is built to last, not to landfill.
