Louis Filosa is a designer living and practicing in New York City.  After graduating with a degree in industrial design from Purdue University, Louis has worked as an apprentice under some of the world's most influential designers including Karim Rashid, Marcel Wanders and the late Michael Graves.  His also worked for the award-winning restaurant and hospitality firm AvroKO as their furniture & lighting designer, creating unique and functional pieces for their interior spaces. 

Additionally, Louis was instrumental in developing and designing Fab.com's first line of furniture, lighting and home accessories to be sold directly to customers online.  More recently, he has collaborated with the major US design retailer CB2, a subsidiary of Crate & Barrel, to design accessible modern furniture and accessories.  His first independent product, the Recluse desk, is now being sold nationwide at CB2 stores and online.
